71 Beacon Street Condominiums
Boston, Massachusetts

The rehabilitation of this Boston townhouse will convert the existing layout of eleven rental apartments into two duplex and four floor-through condominium units.  Thought to have been designed by Asher Benjamin and built about 1820, the building is one of a series of originally identical granite faced residences that face Boston's Public Garden.  Its conversion into condominiums will focus on maintaining and restoring as much of the existing interior finishes as possible while adding new terraces and completely modernizing or replacing all of the structure's kitchens, bathrooms, and mechanical systems.
