Façade & Storefront Improvement Program

Thomas Mayo Associates as the team Architect, worked
with the Revere Business Development Corporation (RBDC) and the City of Revere
in their improvement program designed to upgrade the commercial downtown
area. Initially, TMA’s work included
the preparation of design standards for building awnings and signage to be
used in providing an overall organizing feature for the Broadway Shopping
area. TMA's major work, based on
program applications received from target area businesses and building
owners, was the preparation of conceptual designs and construction cost
budgets describing recommended facade and storefront improvements for the
projects. Based on owner and RBDC approvals, final designs and construction
documents, as well as updated cost estimates, were prepared for use by the
owner in soliciting construction bids.
TMA also provided construction phase architectural services in order
to assist the owner toward the successful implementation of the projects. |
